MILDRED JONES AWARD – Insurance Woman of the Year
Each year since 1993, the year celebrating the 30th anniversary of the foundation of MAIW, our association celebrates a woman of the industry who distinguishes herself by her professionalism and her positive involvement in the insurance industry.
Candidates can be nominated by any person working in the insurance industry. You are the boss or colleague of a woman you consider exceptional? Submit her candidacy at the following address info@afam-maiw.com
MAIW PUBLIC SPEAKING CONTEST
Each year MAIW holds a public speaking contest for its members. The winner is determined by a panel of judges and each participant receives a cash prize. As for the winner she earns the opportunity to represent MAIW at the CAIW national contest and all costs to attend convention are paid by MAIW.
Public Speaking contest sponsored by Intact Insurance (CAIW)
Intact Insurance sponsors CAIW’s Public Speaking contest which takes place during the annual convention and in which participate the winners of the local associations’ public speaking contests. The winner receives a $500. prize and a trophy, second place receives a prize of $250. and third $150.
Insurance Information Campaign Award
Achievement Award sponsored by Claimspro Adjusters (CAIW)
This award sponsored by ClaimsPro is given to the association which presents the best and most comprehensive submission demonstrating how the association met its goals through various educational activities and its involvement in the community. This award is given to the winning association at the annual convention.
Rising Star Award sponsored by Steamatic Canada (CAIW)
This prize is awarded annually during the CAIW national convention to a candidate who is actively employed or closely affiliated with the insurance industry, who shows potential to be an industry leader and person of influence, and has distinguished themselves through their initiative, both within their employment and the insurance industry as a whole.
Insurance woman of the year (CAIW)
This award is the highest honor given by CAIW to a person who has distinguished themselves by her engagement and involvement in her local association, CAIW, the insurance industry and her community. The award is presented during the gala evening of the national convention.
